Local Rules

1. Boundaries. Bed of dam at all times. Road between 15th and 18th when playing 14th and 18th holes. All fences, dykes and railings surrounding course and white marker posts at 15th and 18th holes.
2. Tee Trenches. A ball in trenches round tees. Lift and drop at nearest point of relief, not nearer hole. No penalty.
3. Plugged Ball. A ball which is plugged only on farways and on paths cut to fairway length.
4. A ball in the following situations:
   A ball in the two grass bunkers on the 18th fairway.
   A ball in tracks made by cart or tractor on the course.
   A ball on rocks on fairways can be lifted and dropped at
   nearest point of relief, not nearer hole. No penalty.
5. Cut Drains. In all cut drains a ball may be lifted and dropped not nearer hole under penalty of one stroke.
   Exceptions. when playing 5th and 14th holes drains marked by white posts, lift and drop at nearest point of relief not nearer hole. No penalty.
6. When a ball lying in a hole on the fairway, such that the handle of the club can be placed over it without touching it. The same shall be considered unplayable, ball shall be lifted and dropped at nearest point of relief not nearer hole.
   No penalty. (Opponent must be consulted).
7. Ball landing on all tees to be played as it lies.
8. When ball to be dropped near any tee, it must not be dropped on the tee.
9. 6th and 17th greens are G.U.R. at all times and ball may be moved to nearest point of relief from any damage which has occured. No penalty. Opponent must be consulted.
10. Obstructions. All concrete paths and steps, or tarmacadam paths, lift and drop at nearest point of relief not nearer hole. No penalty.
11. 6th/15th holes. Ball landing on road may be lifted and dropped not nearer hole. No penalty.
12. Preferred Lies. Any area marked with blue posts, not neare hole.
